Paul Caccaviello  -  Called to

Public Service

Paul is Berkshire born, raised and educated. Paul graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1982 and went on to Berkshire Community College to get his Associates Degree. He graduated from North Adams State College in 1986 and then went on to Western New England College to get his Law Degree in 1989. Paul has been with the Berkshire District Attorney’s since 1988 when he started as an un-paid intern under then District Attorney Ruberto. He feels a calling to public service and he works each and every day to serve all the communities of Berkshire County. Paul has prosecuted cases at every level in the  Commonwealth of Massachusetts. His office is committed to honoring the sacred public trust: to seek justice - by holding the guilty accountable while protecting the innocent and ensuring dignity for victims and their families. “Justice is served only when we act with integrity and professionalism, and in a manner that is both fair and even-handed.”  Paul was named prosecutor of the year in 2008 by the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association. In addition to serving as the Berkshire County District Attorney, Paul served on the Saint Agnes School Board, was a member of the Dalton Rotary Club and is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Berkshire Community College.
